School Uniform
At The Acorns Primary and Nursery School, we place a lot of value on our pupils looking smart and taking pride in their appearance. Wearing the appropriate school uniform is a key part of representing our school and setting the example we would like others to see. Therefore, please ensure that your child has the uniform listed below:
White short sleeved polo shirt or navy blue with the school logo on (NOT light blue and NOT shirts)
Navy blue, black or grey trousers, skirts or dresses.
In summer term, black, grey or navy shorts and blue and white checked dresses can be worn.
Blue jumper or cardigan with the school logo
Grey, black or white socks
Black sensible shoes or boots (no trainers or heel
PE Kits: Black shorts and a navy t-shirt.
Parents need to ensure that all clothing is clearly marked with their child's name ~ including shoes and coats!
Children are not allowed to wear jewellery in school for safety reasons, with the exception of one pair of small stud earrings.
Children should NOT have temporary tattoos or nail varnish on at school. Please save these as treats for school holidays and then ensure they have been fully removed before school starts again.
We would ask that children who have long hair wear it tied back to prevent the spread of head lice. School is unable to authorise a child to be absent with head lice.
